Warranty Terms: Pre-lit Trees

STANDARD PRE-LIT TREE LIMITED GUARANTEE

SUBJECT TO THE EXCLUSIONS BELOW

Please register your product prior to filing a Limited Guarantee claim. Product registration is available at www.geholidaylighting.com/register or by mailing in the enclosed registration card to Nicolas Holiday Limited, 204 Spring Hill Road, Trumbull, CT 06611, Attention: Customer Service. You must provide a legible copy of your sales receipt as proof of purchase in order to process your registration.

This product was pre- tested before shipment and date coded. In keeping with the National Electrical Code, this product is intended for residential seasonal installation and use (90 days max. per year) only. Nicolas Holiday Limited's Limited Guarantee covers repair or replacement (same or equivalent) of this product within the warranty term specified on the product label from the date of manufacture for defects in materials or workmanship, such as broken welds or rivets. (Product manufacture date is on the attached “Caution” cord tag and is a 6-digit identifier containing 4 numeric codes and 2 letter codes. Removal of the tag will void the warranty.) Troubleshooting tips are on your use and care guide included in the carton. If self-troubleshooting or with a customer support agent is unsuccessful, your Limited Guarantee entitles you to the following:

You may send your tree or individual section(s) prepaid to our authorized tree repair center at St. Nick's Fix, 246 Spring Hill Road, Trumbull, CT 06611, Attention: Customer Service. Return shipment is free of charge. Allow four (4) to six (6) weeks for processing. Note: We do not send new trees or sections prior to receiving a tree or section(s) from a customer.

If all or part of the tree fails to light after troubleshooting, then replacement light strands for the unlit rows would be sent to you along with installation instructions. Replacement light strands would be sent within (4) to six (6) weeks of your request.

EXCLUSIONS

This product is guaranteed only if it is used as intended. This Limited Guarantee does not cover: 1) commercial applications, 2) an individual unlit bulb/LED, 3) misuse or tampering, 4) damage caused by improper consumer handling, storage, or product alteration or 5) components that may weather, age or discolor due to a chemical reaction when exposed to UV, oils, heat, acid rain, atmospheric oxygen and some salts.

ANY IMPLIED GUARANTEES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED GUARANTEES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE. OTHERWISE THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT, AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS LIMITED GUARANTEE, IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER, AND IS PROVIDED IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER GUARANTEES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL NICOLAS HOLIDAY LIMITED BE LIABLE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) FOR DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT, OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE PRODUCT TO THE FULL EXTENT THESE DAMAGES MAY BE DISCLAIMED BY LAW.

Some states and jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, or limitation on the length of an implied guarantee, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This Limited Guarantee gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state or from one jurisdiction to another.
