MOST COMMON ISSUES
- Reset the light set
- How do I do this?
- Begin the process by unplugging all light set(s) and then plugging in one light set at a time. The indicator light will change from solid red to solid green once the Wi-Fi connection is active.
- From the home screen of the App, tap the “RESET” icon in the upper right hand corner.
- The App will then display a list of coded light sets within range. Select the light set you want to reset from the list and tap OK. This will initiate the reset process and the light set will display an alternating pattern of orange and white LEDs.
- We recommend turning each light set off for 10 seconds before plugging in and resetting.
- For resetting rules, please see”?” icon on the upper right side of “RESET” home screen.
- Perform a "Super Reset"
- We recommend using “Super Reset” for forgotten password situation only as it resets not only the password but also the set coding. Super Reset can be done per series coded group or per light set.
- From the second screen (Wi-Fi status screen) of the App, tap the Super Reset icon (detached plug and end connector symbol) in the upper right hand corner.
- Tap “OK” to proceed. Follow in-app guide for the whole process.
- Connect to the light set you want to Super Reset by selecting the light set you want to reset on the available Network list that will be shown. Press “OK” to start process. For series coded light set, you only need to connect to the first light set.
- This will initiate the reset process and the light set will display an alternating pattern of blue and white (password changed) for approximately 5 seconds then finally orange and white LEDs(coding changed). See Super Reset Rules on upper right hand corner of “Super Reset” screen for more details.
- Exit process by pressing “ < “ back icon on the upper left of the screen.
- Reset the password
- Changing the default password enables users to have protected control of the light set(s). This step is optional, but is recommended to prevent unauthorized users from controlling your light sets. The default password for each light set is “2015”. If you are using multiple light sets, you must assign the same password to each light set or this may cause your light sets to operate incorrectly. To change the password:
- Once all light set(s) are coded properly, access the features menu from the home screen by clicking “Connect”. (If using an Apple iOS product, you may need to connect to the light set directly from ‘Settings -> Wi-Fi’. If prompted for a Wi-Fi network (i.e. ‘iTwinkle WiFi 01’) password for your light set, use “20152015”.)
- Once connected to the light set, tap next, and then select the key icon in the lower right hand corner. The App will display a screen showing your current (or default) password.
- Tap the line that says “New Password” and enter a new 4-digit combo. Once entered, press the checkmark.
- The light set(s) will display an alternating pattern of blue and white LEDs to let you know that the password has been successfully changed. We recommend writing your new password down and keeping it in a safe place to avoid any inconvenience. Changing password of sets coded in series is done only on the first light set “iTwinkle WiFi 01”, the remaining sets will also follow the change command.
- For sets with password already changed and user changed device to control light set, to regain control you have 3 minutes to change password to default using “2015” upon powering light set(s) on. (If using an Apple iOS product, you may need to connect to the light set directly from ‘Settings -> Wi-Fi’. If prompted for a Wi-Fi network (i.e. ‘iTwinkle WiFi 01’) password for your light set, use “20152015”.)
- In case of a forgotten password and using a new device, “Super Reset” can be used to change light set back to default factory settings (both coding and password). See “Resetting Light Sets” for more details.
- Refresh the set signal

- Unplug all light sets, and plug light sets in one-by-one, beginning with the light set coded “01” followed by “02”, etc. This will refresh the communication device. Wait 10 seconds after unplugging a light set to plug it back in.
